Ingredients:
4 boneless center cut pork chops
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 tablespoons butter
2 granny smith apples, cored and sliced
¾ cup apple butter
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
½ teaspoon ancho chili powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon Mediterranean oregano
1/3 cup heavy cream
Â
Directions:
1.   Season both sides of pork chops with salt and pepper.
2.   Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium high heat in a skillet. Add the pork chops and cook on each side for 3 minutes. Remove pork chops from skillet and allow to rest.
3.   Using the same skillet, melt 3 tablespoons butter. Add the apple slices and cook until soft, about 5 minutes. Add the apple butter, brown sugar, chili powder, smoked paprika, and Mediterranean oregano. Stir to combine. Stir in cream and bring it to a simmer.Â
4.   Add the pork chops back to the skillet and spoon sauce over them. Simmer the chops in the sauce for about 4 more minutes or until cooked through.Â
5.   Serve pork chops and apples over rice.Â
